I meant to update @6 months post-BC, but just got around to straightening DD#2's hair a few days ago. It's been 27 months since her last relaxer.

Her nape is skimming BSL, and she wants to wait until the longest layers reach MBL and then cut back to blunt BSL - probably in about 6 months.

Simple regimen:

Co-wash 2X/wk
DC w/egg every 4-6 weeks
Shampoo every 4-6 weeks (only when it will be flatironed)
Bun or puff every day
Safflower or grapeseed oil on ends every few days

I WISH I COULD adopt some adults - then THEY could drive ME all around town and give ME an allowance each week! I'd send the apopted adults to a scissor happy stylist, though - I ain't got time for more heads of hair :lol:

We do have an adult daughter, BTW. I think you've seen pics of her hair, Nonie - but alas, she won't let me post any :sad:
