MOB Hair

Hello ladies:

My baby is getting married and you know I want my locks on point. I'm working with 3b/3c, apl to mbl in the back, salt and peppa hair. I am thinking along the lines of an updo. My eyes keep looking at floor length MOB gowns, fyi. Any suggestions on dos? TIA. SL

Congrats on her wedding! I'm admittedly not much of a fashionista, but I think if you're looking at floor length dresses, the you should wear your hair in an updo, either classic and sophisticated or soft and light depending on the style/details of the dress.

I will be doing no. 3 for everyday looks. Thanks a gajillion! The one with the two pony tails, twisted, then made into a bun (especially since I bun for protective styling most days of the week).

No ma'am. LOL, actually that is the topic of another thread. Was directed to dressy.com and OMG, I saw some BEAUTIFUL, affordable gowns there.

Thank you, dahlin'. I wanna be for my baby, you know. She gave me color parameters for the dress (white, red, silver are the colors). I will steer away from white (obvious reasons). Red is my favorite color too. This is oh so fun.

I've got three other daughters. Next, who's it gonna be? This is so fun

As it turns out my hair is too long for the cute style I picked above so I am back in the running and now time is running out. I basically have wavy, APL hair that I need a wedding updo for.

I hav to take your word for it if u say your hair is too long but im thnkg that maybe... If u wear it curly and pin it in the right places, maybe it will work?
Is your hair apl when curly? If not mayb shrinkage will make it short enuf for this style.
It looks like a bun w loose curls on top, probably sprayd w some holdg spritz or other product so it stays put.

Yes

Let's hope so. For what it's worth, when I put my hair into a ponytail (first step for bun) the rest hangs; i.e., not like the cute little puff here. Make sense?
