I have noticed thinning And breakage around my hairline/edges... only the front though. I suspect that daily puffs on my natural hair is the cause because it always felt tight.

I applied some sulfur 8 grease to my edges and OMG it feels great! I love the long lasting cooling sensation it gives but I can do without the smell. I'm hoping with consistent use it will help my edges fill in.

How do you ladies feel about this product??

I've been making my own "sulfur 8" oil for a while now, so I haven't bought Sulfur 8 in many years. I love sulfur and I love grease!:) I just don't like grease on my scalp which is why I use oil instead, but I love grease on my strands.

Absolutely! Use 8 oz of your favorite oil and add 1 tsp sulfur powder, shake well. (This recipe is all over this site!) You have to shake it well every time you use it because it doesn't actually dissolve. My favorite oil to use is Mahabhringaraj Oil.

I used to use the light one sparingly as I always found regular grease too heavy (my hair was relaxed back then). I never found the smell that bad- I still have some.

I recently started using my own oil/ sulphur blend (inspired from here), but I am not consistent. I don't need a lot of oil on my head- even if I apply lightly.

This thread made me go check my stash to make sure I have one in there ret-to-go for Fall/Winter.:look:

I still use it as needed. Its the only thing that tames my scalp when it starts acting up on me.

I'm gonna try the lite because the regular is kinda 2 thick.

I do! It does smell and it is too thick. I'm going to try sulphur powder with jojoba oil since my fine strands are sensitive to oil
