I took my box braids out this pass Wednesday because I missed my hair too much. I tried Shine n Jam on the roots for my twists; but was heavy handed and really don’t like how it makes my hair feel.

WEDNESDAY
- Take down box braids
- Finger detangle each section
- Twist each section using Shine n Jam at the roots

FRIDAY
- Moisturize with a mist of water
- Seal with coconut oil
- Stretch twists in 4 braids

SATURDAY
- Scalp treatment: Nizoral shampoo for 10 minutes
- Cowash: Camille Rose Caramel Cowash on length
- Moisturize and seal with coconut oil and shea butter
- Stretch twists in 4 braids

Nothing much really. I’ve got work Friday Saturday and Sunday. They don’t allow employees to wear hats, so I’ll probably just spritz my hair down real good and coat my length with some BTZ Smooth Criminal serum. And be done.

Monday will be wash day, so I’ll update. In need of a protein treatment, and recently bought a better bonnet that you can attach your blow dryer to. So I’m excited to finally use it.

I'm not planning to wash my hair but last night I started moisturising my hair by taking down, spritzing with water, adding a little SM leave-in and sealing heavily with whipped Shea butter. I'll continue refreshing the rest of my twists with this method tonight and tomorrow.

Anyone heard of curly proverbs? I’m doing her hair growth oil minus henna as a pre-pop. I also am using a product called Moisture Lock shampoo to wash out (it’s a bar and works wonders) from a shop I found on Etsy. Aussie conditioning after....my go to routine
