The S-Curl under the mousse worked. I think I prefer the crazy sexy curl To mousse def, but I've only used them both once. I definitely prefer them to the Miche mousse. I really need to try them on clarified hair so I can get a better sense of how they work for me. I might use the Miche mousse when I get to my Roller set season.

My hair has a mild cast, it's still kind of soft but with a firm hold, if that makes sense. It's not feeling weighed down, still has movement and is just how I like it. Funnily enough, even with the harder cast, it still had movement.

Big Poppa, is quickly creeping into HG territory, although I want to use it over a longer period to be sure. I love that I have no flaking with the two times I've used it too. I definitely think with the S-Curl, my hair is super hydrated, and feels a lot cooler to the touch. I'm currently on day 3, my hair looks the same as it did on day 1.

I need to use up my CRN curl maker, I might use that as a base gel just to get rid of it. I also want to try all of my CRN products together to see if that makes any difference to the hold and definition.

I'm laughing at myself for being so happy and excited about locking down great WAG combinations
Lol. Locking down a great WAG combination is THAT SERIOUS THOUGH, lol. I was over the MOON to find my foam (Doux CSC or Chief Rocka) and gel (Innersense or Jello Shot) combinations that just WORK! I raised a hallelujah!!! :headspin:

Your plans and intentions make sense to me! And, I had the same feeling about Miche compared to Crazy Sexy Curl: no contest. I'm glad that Miche products work well for others, though.

I look forward to hearing your conclusions! Blessings!

Thank you :) ❤️

Trust me, it's a great combination compared with previous product combinations  I literally had what I desbribe as frizzy, puffy roots, with a few defined curls at the front, semi curls at the back, what was disappointing, moreso because it would always start out looking great.

It feels so good, when things work out the way you want it to. I really wanted to love the Miche line but unfortunately, it just wasn't for me. I have a couple of conditioners, I'm not expecting much from them, and will have my oils on standby to to give them that extra something, if needed.

My WAG combo this week is Miche mousse and CRN curl maker layered over S-Curl and CRN curl love. This is definitely the best result I've had with both the mousse and the gel, but it's no way as good as my Doux combos. The definition was okay, the cast has started to break and the frizz has started to show up. The good thing is my hair is very moisturised and looks shiny.

I have about two more uses of the curl maker,.I will try it this week with the CRN spiked honey mousse and see how that goes. I've heard good things about the spiked honey mousse. I'm hoping to get through the Miche gel by the time I move into my roller sets. I'll probably give any that's left over to my son.

A couple of combos I'd like to try is the Miche gel with crazy sexy curl, the spiked honey mousse and again with the Miche mousse. I realised that I probably wasn't using enough of the curl maker on the previous occasions I had used it. But I do really love the way that the Doux products define my curls, gives relatively soft cast that lasts for many days, while feeling light on my hair. So far my favorite combination. I will use the mousses I don't love for my WAGs for roller sets, so they won'tbe wasted.

I've definitely improved my WAG technique, but I fear I may have caused some mechanical damage from using the tangle teezer brush, which I've stopped using for now. I've really enjoyed wearing my curls over the summer. As much as I'm looking forward to roller setting, I will miss my curls until my next curly season (somewhere between March and May, depending on the weather).

I've just tried the CRN spiked honey mousse and curl maker together under the CRN curl love.

The jury is still out. I didn't particularly like the feel of the mousse on my hair when I was raking it through or brushing it. This mousse appears to have elongated my curl pattern, I'm still waiting for it to dry dry to see how much if any shrinkage, how moisturised my hair is and if/how much frizz I see.

It doesn't feel like there's going to be much of a cast at the moment, I expect I may have to add more of the gel in the morning to improve the definition and combat any frizz.

ETA: This combo is an epic fail! By the time I'd finished writing the post I noticed that my ends were drying. I went to check it out and tbh, what I saw was not that different from putting water in my hair and letting it dry.

I added more of the curl maker and I think that might have just about saved my WAG. I'm at the bottom of the bottle and the pump doesn't seem to function well enough to dispense the last of the gel. I'm decanting it into a small jar, I'll probably need to apply more gel in the morning.

The spiked honey mousse was a real let down, I had such high hopes for this based on great reviews, this will definitely not be a repurchased product, moving forward, I intend to use it up with roller sets.

I've just dived a little deeper on the spiked honey mousse.... It seems that they had a formula change about a year ago, it explains why I didn't get the results I expected.
