Naturals: Can I substitute hot ROLLERS for CURLING IRON in press 'n curl?

I was thinking that when I blow dry/press, instead of using a curling iron, can I use hot curlers/rollers instead?

I do it. I use Conair hot rollers. The result is kinda big though. I'd go with the curling iron or pin curls for a more refined look.

my daughter uses the hot rollers, then comb em out a bit in a wrap ( cuz she prefers less curls) ...then pin curls it down....
turns out nicely
