So I took my braids out (after 2 and 1/2 months) and I'm not getting a relaxer until the end of the month. I have so much new growth that I can barely comb through it.

I pre-pooed, dc'ed and airdried my hair. Bad idea.

I now look like Kizzy.

What do I do with my head for the next 2 weeks??? :wallbash:

Do a twist out, just make maybe 6-10 twists about your head and let it dry overnight.

I can't even imagine. I took out my sew in after only 4 weeks, and I have NG also. I was so frustrated when I combed it and washed it. I was looking in the mirror like, "now what?!" I get another sew in in about a week and a half. Right now, I am wearing big curly half wig.:nono: You are welcome to try one!:look::lachen:

I would recommend a braid-out or twist out and congrats on your growth.

I need a lacefront, the way this head is looking. :perplexed

My husband was like, da hayle???

I would use a really good (cheap) conditioner to comb through wet hair. As stated above, I'd just wear my hair in braidouts.

So how do I soften this new growth up?

ETA- Nevermind, just read post above.
