Question- Is it wise to grease your scalp after you wash and dry your hair??? DOes it clog your pores?? Does grease stunt your hair growth????:wallbash: If so... let me know what you put in your hair, scalp or both when your wash and DC your hair.

I personally do not grease my scalp b/c it weigh my hair down. However, I use jojoba oil and vitamin E oil on my scalp. You can purchase these and other natural oils at GNC or the Vitamin shop.

I use pure natural oils and butters on my scalp/hair

but some people do use grease still

lately i havent been putting anything on my scalp at all. but i do have an all natural grease by natural oasis and i have the blue magic coconut oil grease which only has two ingredients. they are both great.

I don't apply anything at all to my scalp. Except for the time I was trying to grow back a bald spot, I haven't used anything on my scalp since I was 11.

Irresistible,

What natural oils and butters do you use?

TIA

I was using dr. miracles before but im quittin it i just use it as a grease but im tryin to find something i can spray in my scalp for a moisturizer.

I also use natural oils and butters on my scalp.

Oils:
jojoba
sweet almond
macadamia
camilina
emu
monoi

Butters:
jojoba
avocado
hemp seed
olive
aloe

ETA: I mostly use oils and butters on my hair to seal in moisture. Occasionally, I use them on my scalp when it feels dry. Usually in winter.
