I would think that the money she's charging would be split between her and the other people helping her.

that should be enough to pay off some debt...i think!
I'm going to join for a month, I'm curious.
I'll tell you all about it.
I'll join today.

What exactly do you get for this fee? You all mention hand-holding, how much hand-holding? If it's enough, $10 might not be too bad. You could maybe join for 3 months and get what you need and $30 for 3 months of mentoring in anything is not that much money spent. Shoot, I get $50/hr to private tutor, so I'm not going to try to say someone shouldn't charge someone $10/mo for a service. My only question is, how much service are you getting? Is there anything extra personal about it? Does she have a certain number of private emails you can have with her during that time? What are all the perks? Before we can decide if it's overcharging I think we'd have to actually know what we'd be getting for the price.
That said I won't be joining because the site's main leader is relaxed and I wouldn't ask a relaxed person for hair advice for my hair. They may know, but they ain't living the natural haired life and I'd rather take advice from someone who is sharing my hair experiences. Shoot, I saw her comb her hair, my hair combing don't look nothing like that.

She does seem to have a whole staff. I really want to join for a month just to look at the videos, but I think it would be a waste. I was a part of her other one, but LHCF kept me so busy I probably only looked there 2 times.
there is really no difference, you all aren't missing out on any thing yet! I'll do some more exploring, plus the site is in it's beginning stages. Can you tell me some of the differences between her site and LHCF? Have you had a chance to check out the videos yet?
Okay. And if I remember correctly this same OP started one of the already locked threads about HT.The same reason why there's multiple threads about a specific condition, method, poo, etc
The person started this thread b/c she wanted a review from someone on here to see if it's worth the money.
someone else said $8800, I misinterpreted it for $880.But ummm.... that would mean that ALL 88 members paid the full $100 while signing up. How do you know that they didn't sign up for the monthly payment of $9.99? So she may not have gotten $8800 in one fell swoop. The speculation in here is mind-boggling.
If you know how to do this... don't waste your money.

Thank you both. Very helpful.
ok I just joined, there are 88 members!
The issue is how many people just joined for one month, and whether she gains new members by word of mouth or will it decline. Her new venture is going to be very profitable indeed! Go 'head Macherie!![]()

A review is fine. Another 11+ pages of calling Macherie crazy and ripping people off is pretty damn redundant, especially if the people saying this have no intention of joining the site.
Have a nice night![]()
Who said no could disagree with me? Your reading too deep into this, and turning this into something that it's not. I said one thing and your twisting my words around like i'm saying 'bring it'! if i meant 'bring it' with the disagreeing! i would've put that. I meant to be peaceful you want to argue not a problem with me. You seem to be reading into this for drama, I don't recall the OP starting this as a drama post, she asked a question people put their answers. I put my answers.
I'm not your parent so what r u talking about"you said ya'll can disagree w/ me...... like people couldn't or something"
I'm not trying to control what people say, I was actually enjoying this threaded discussion until this.
pointless
Yea I was too![]()

It is nice to seem some of the older members
My curiosity has gone over the top today, I made up a new identity just to see the new application process for ChaCha!
I believe the only aspect that would keep members is the forum, for the sense of communityIf it truly is a "hand holding" kind of thing for beginners, then there will be a lot of turnover. Folks will get the advice they need, get their regimens together and move on. Unless the site is incredibly detailed and comprehensive and is offering special things that are exclusive to that site, I can't imagine why someone would keep paying after they have gotten their hair on the right track.
There are enough jacked up heads out there though that with enough word of mouth, new members will probably keep joining.
Are you talking about the older member on LHCF that disappear( I've always wondered about them) or are you saying that you see some older healthytextures members on LHCFI miss some of the older members posting here.

Yeah, I hate to see that, when I look at older thread,I always wonder what happened and if they ever reached their goals. The older members that dissappear......
