She cut off all the color I had on the tips of my hair. The last time I use a permanent dye was in Nov of 07 and then I started to henna. I'm wondering if I can dye my hair and then use henna to stop any damage and get my color back?

You can use henna on top of dye but it will not stop the damge caused by peroxide or ammonia

Think of henna having the strengthening power of a really good, light protein conditioner.

It improved my overall texture and did make my hair stronger and just overall nicer, but it's not like a reconstrucor.

So my hair will be okay by using henna after dying?
