I currently own one of those flimsy Gold N Hot blowdryer attachments and I am tired of that thing slidding off my head.

I wanna get a hooded dryer from Sallys. Now I dont rollerset.... so I dont need a pibbs the standing babyliss or anything fancy like that. I use the bonnet mainly for DCs and to expidite twist outs, or to dry my sew ins on washdays :perplexed Once in a blue moon I may straw set or flexirod but thats about it.

I figure the little table tops one would be fine but I see three of them, they are realatively close in price so I want to know which one would be best.

So if you own one of the following tell me how you like it! Pros and cons

-Ion Hard hat dryer
http://www.sallybeauty.com/hard-hat-dryer/SBS-301075,default,pd.html?cgid=Hair09

- Gold N hot Professional dryer 1200 watt
http://www.sallybeauty.com/bonnet-Hair-dryer/SBS-255271,default,pd.html?cgid=Hair09-03

- Belson Gold N Hot Professional dryer 1875 watt
http://www.sallybeauty.com/Hard-Hat-Dryer/SBS-255270,default,pd.html?cgid=Hair09-03

And here are some questions I have
1) What difference will the ionic one make in the finished results
2) is the ionic hood significantly smaller than the golden hot? perhaps its just the cone shape making it look small
3) What difference will I notice between the two golden hot dryers since they have a different wattage?

Thank you in advance for your time and input! I appreciate it :yep:

I had the Belson Gold N Hot 1875 watt. It was loud, but it got very hot. I returned it because I needed something bigger to dry my rollersets (I have a large head ya see). I think if it didn't have the Cone shape it would have worked for me a little better. I thought about purchasing the Gold N Hot 1200 watt, but I really wanted something a little hotter.

Unfortunately, I can't answer your more specific questions. I'm sure one of the other very knowledgable members will chime in.

Hmm, I know nothing about hooded dryers, but I didn't know most of them weren't big enough to hold rollersets...

I have this one and love it, I use it for my hair and my son's hair. It is Tourmaline and dries pretty fast!

I don't have any of the others. SOrry

Wow looks fancy! A lil too rich for my blood.

Im tryna keep it in the 50 dollar range and upgrade from my 8 dollar bonnet

Yall are serious with these dryers hmmmm....outlooks not so good lol

does no one find that these lower end ones work for them?

Thank you to all who responded! hmmm with no good reviews I guess I may not buy the dryers after all.... :(

i did not care for my ion....one day pibbs will be mine :)

I am with you. My only issue is that I use it for my rollersets, but it is not enough room for me to fit all the way under, so the back and my sides dont dry:wallbash: sooo i am saving for my pibbs.
