I think I got a little misty eyed. It feels so nice to see the results of taking care of my hair and so many of you are hair idols of mine!

I was trying to explain shrinkage to a friend of mine before I straightened. And she's Pacific Islander, so she has textured hair but I could tell she wasn't getting it. So when she saw me last night she was like "It's so long and healthy looking!" (she has hair down to the middle of her back mind you) and then out of nowhere she goes " Dang, girl! Your hair looks better than the weave hair!"
