Hi Cousins!:hiya:

If you are a Pre-Poo'er, like me.....OR you got some DC'ers and Oils you are tryna' use up, why not Pre-Poo?

Join us for the 2024-2025 Pre-Poo Challenge!

Just Stop in and tell us what you are using?

I'm going to join. I'm going to keep it simple though. I'll be using either coconut oil (serum blend or refined) or a cheap conditioner before submerging my hair in water to shampoo.

Overnight tonight with:
Redken Acidic Bonding Treatment (Pre-Poo)

I will join!

Last Sunday, I pre-pooed with Amla oil and rice bran oil before washing with my Shea Moisture shampoo bar.
The Sunday before last, I pre-pooed with Bhringraj oil and Olaplex #1, and #3.

Since it's the winter, I have only been washing/co-washing once a week on Sundays.

I prepooed last Sunday with Olaplex #1 and #3 aloe juice along with Rice bran oil. Washed with Shea moisture shampoo bar afterwards.

Agreed. You wouldn't need anymore than that. I like it:yep:

It didn't take much product and I could really tell my scalp/hair was detoxed/clarified.

I might need a b/up:eek:

Pre-Treat:
Sarenzo Beauty's Capuacu & Sea Moss Pre-Poo Treatment

I prepooed two weeks ago (before I got my braids) with shakakai oil and sprayed my hair with aloe juice. I let it sit for about an hour before I washed my hair with my Shea Moisture shampoo bar.

Every wash day, I use olaplex no. 2 as a base with some treatment/mask over it and condition with heat. I add the the African Pride prepoo to each section when it's time to detangle.

This week's mask was the L'Oreal Elvive total repair 5 damage erasing balm.

I'm actively trying to use up my hair care product stash and have been doing a CWC routine every 2-3 days.

Currently working on using up Olaplex No. 0.
