I went natural accidentally- I kept my hair in braids for my first 2 years in college, one day I took out the braids, washed my hair and realized there was this big puff fro on my head with relaxed ends. I went to my stylist and she used a razor to cut off the relaxed ends coz there was so few.

I cut it myself.

I just bought some scissors and clippers and got it over with, and it turned out surprisingly well. (But then again, I had some experience in cutting my own hair anyway, so that probably helped.)

I cut it myself. I washed my hair and airdryed - this was the best way to differentiate the 2 textures - then cut. It was kind of hard because I was texturized and my ends were still curly but my new growth was frizzier so that's how I was able to tell the difference.
