am i the only one that MEGATEK did not work for?

Heya
Not every body's hair takes to Mega Tek. Some people get great growth while others get breakage and shedding, some it just doesnt work for them. Also remember that everyone who use MT mix's it differently. How does your hair take to protein?

hey thanks!!!
my hair takes protein pretty well....i didn't get shedding or breakage....or growth.....nothing happened...like NOTHING.....it just smelled good....
i've used it straigh and i've mixed mine with oils....
someone suggested once to mix it with water.....ummmm yeah ...didn't work....
i have another bottle left under my sink.....maybe i will try mixing it with aloe vera juice.....everyone has gotten such amazing results....nada for me....

no, judging from the progress pictures that I have seen, they all look like normal growth to me, nothing magnificent or accelerated about them.

i've seen/heard of ppl getting like 2 inches a month......and a couple people swore they got an inch in a week....
I have yet to see pictures proving 2 inches in a month, or anyone showing more than 6 - 8 inches in a year

Worked for me. 2 inches a month or 1 inch in a week is a bit extreme but I got about .50 to .60 inches a month with a MT/oil mix (1:1). Straight up MT I got about .60 to .75 inches a month. My normal growth rate is about .30 to .40 inches a month. Even though the change between my raw growth and aided growth may be subtle, it adds up after some months!
I also have iron deficiency anemia so I've always theorized that that is why MT helped me a lot. It replaced the nutrients in my hair that I wasn't getting due to my being anemic.

It didnt work for me.I too got sucked into the hype and miracle growth pics and bought it. It smelled nice and was a good protein treatment but NOT worth 30 dollars.i didnt do jack for my growth and made my hair look ashy on top of that. that was the last growth aid bandwagon i ever jumped on.

i bought mine waaaayyyy before the ingredient change....my scalp laughs at growth aids!!!!
i think i'm gonna just use up this last bottle i have and hope for APL by the end of summer.....

I'm going to start using mine as a Protein Treatment on Freshly Cowashed Hair Under the Dryer (no plastic cap) for about 20/30 minutes.
It filled in a coupla' spots I had very nicely. I think it's a good emergency fix.
Curious to see how it will work as a Protein Treatment. Will Steam with something Moisturizing afterwards.

I never got fantasical growth with MT, but it has helped my hair thicken and increased my growth rate by about .25" a month. I am far more skeptical of any product where people claim magical growth. HOWEVER, I will say admittedly that after using MT regularly I find that I am getting at least between .5 and .75" of growth each month. Prior to this, my growth was regularly less than .5" a month.
I have colored hair, so I can literally mark my growth easily using my grey (peppered) hair new growth. In April I colored my hair mid-month, within 2 weeks you could see a 1/4".
One last thought, the months were I was getting upwards to .75", I was also eating well, exercising and drinking green shakes. So while its not only MT, I think it takes an all around effort to get it working for you.

That's the thing, Eqyss' response was that they had to change the label to accurately reflect the ingredients. I wonder how long the formula had changed before they actually corrected the label.
But yeah, add me to the pot. MT did not give me any phenomenal growth.
I love the way it smells and it's the only thing that'll cover up the sulfur smell when I mix them!
