I did a search and nothing came up. I came upon this as I was perusing the beauty aisles of Duane Reade...I know alot of u LOVE LOVE LOVE the gel with sparkelites, so I wanted to know if anyone tried the pomade. It looks interesting, and I think it would make a nice gel alternative, and alternative to the Protein Gel for me....

I use it all the time...alot of people think it's too greasy but it holds well and doesn't get hard. It contains biotin too which is good.

Oh, good, i notice that the first ingredient was water, (if i remember well enuff) anf then mineral oil, which wont harm the hair, just coat it, as long as it isnt on the scalp, u kno...

Does it get all over ur hands and stuff if u touch ur hair tho? I hate that icky feeling, or being too scared imma get it over someone's shirt if I hug them..

But I'm gonna buy it tho...I need something different.

When I bought the Fantasia IC Mist I got a sample of the ice pomade in the pack. I like to use it on my edges and for flat twists. I would definitely repurchase the product.

I hate the smell. It kinda smells like Let's Jam (overpowering fruity like Hawaiian Punch smell) and it's just as greasy. That said, I will use a tiny bit on my edges on some occasions.

Definitely not for a replacement of the regular sparkle lites gel. This is like the arch nemesis of let's jam. and yes if you apply too much you will leave a stain. My coat collar was looking very "jheri curlesque"
If I had to use a pomade I prefer elasta qp glaze. It's a little less greasy.

Ewwww....that is not too cute...Maybe I'll rethink this...

To apply it?

Yes, normally I am only putting it on my edges or the very top of my head and I dip a toothbrush down in the container and then apply it. I kinda have long nails and I don't want it getting all up under them.

Oh, ok, I see...

Would u recommend on more of the hair?

To be honest no...I only use gel when I am slicking my hair back in a bun, etc. Using it on dry hair or putting it on and trying to wear your hair down I think it will look greasy or weighed down and I don't think it would hold any curl. IMO... maybe someone else can shed some light on this.
