Hello ladies,
I am new but I want to join this challenge also! I go to a hairdressor for trims faithfully 0.5-1inch every ten weeks. So this will def be a challenge for me. I got a 1inch trim all over Feb 20th so no more trims until may. I am nervous I don't want my ends to split..... shoot I never gave them a chance to see if they split! Count me In!!!!:look: This is all new for me NO TRIMS, Stretching Touch-ups:newbie:

I'm going to see if I can go at LEAST 6 months (Until September) without a trim OR a dusting. I just had my last BIG trim/cut (against my will) this past Tuesday after my relaxer. But my ends needed a slight trim anyway, so I can't complain too much. But now that my ends are healthy, I better not see my stylist trim my hair again! I'm keeping my length!

I'm just curious how long I can go! So definitely count me in! :yep:

No trims/dustings for me until September '08...and even then it will be optional! :D
 
No dusting? I want to do this challenge, but sometimes I see split ends and I get temped...

Can I get one last dusting with my relaxer and then join?? I promise, after this one last time NO MORE TRIMMING/ DUSTING/ SEARCHING FOR SPLIT ENDS AND TRIMMING THE ONE LITTLE HAIR... :lachen:
 
my last trim was 12/31....i will do another trim 3/31 if necessary b4 starting 4/1...is that ok???


ETA....scratch that trim 3/31....i forgot im in the bootcamp challenge=no trims, only dustings...so 3/31, I will dust my ends no trim b4 the 4/1 start date!

Curious??? How long did you go before you trim recently? How much did you get trimmed or cut?
 
You all have been added! The challenge begins in April. Y'all know that sometime we cannot put certain deadlines and dates on our hair (:rolleyes:) , so you can start on any day in April.

I plan on relaxing and trimming the second weekend in April, which is around the 12th-13th.

Remember that this is a 3-6 month challenge. You can end it anywhere from July-September.
 
Add me to the list. I need this challenge so bad. I would have been APL by now if it wasn't for all the cuts and trims. My last trim was December 07

The last time I got my hair trimmed before this past week was September 07 I believe. I usually try to go at least 6 months without getting a trim. I'm trying to do only 2 trims a year. Before my weave disaster I think I was waiting sometimes 7 or 8 months before getting a trim.

I would hold off on getting a trim every relaxer. I would trim like maybe every other relaxer service or longer. I figure...why are "we" the only ones who need trims? :confused: I think that as long as you take really good care of your ends, you probably only need 2 dustings a year (if that).

My hair hasn't really NEEDED a real trim since I stopped using curling irons and direct heat on my hair years ago.
 
I AM IN!!! I just got my ends trimmed a few weeks ago, and I feel like I have really been set back. I had already planned to not get my hair trimmed for quite a while, so this challenge will be perfect!
 
Count me in.

I will avoid trims or cuts... and use Aphogee 1x a month or every 2 months and see how my progress is. (I'm protective styling with lace fronts anyway!)
 
I know this is probably a little late, but I'm up for the challenge.

I'm natural and plan on doing lite "dusting", but NO TRIMMING. Every time I "trim" my hair it seems shrink further inside itself. It eventually loosens after a few weeks, but it gets on my nerves.

I'm gonna post some updated pics sometime this week to show my longer length.
 
I'm in did a dusting about a week ago no scissors any where near my hair till I get to APL (hopefully this year)
