Anyone up for a styling challenge?

I have said before on every single post I have done so far that I am tired of wearing my buns and im ready to experiment. I want to learn some protective styles that look cute as well..

I was thinking it would be a good idea to have a group of women that could support eachother as we do this. I have tried styles before, and have gotten discouraged when they do not come out the way I would like... and ofcourse I would jus take it down an go back to my bun.

This challenge is just an idea for now... I'm not exatly sure how it can be done, if it can be done at all. I was thinking that we can come up with a list of protective styles we want to try (ends protected)..... get some lhcf styling queens to volunteer to teach an guide us as we style and post pics of our results. I was thinking 1 style per month or 1 every 2 weeks.

Persons can skip styles that they do not like and just wait for the one that they want to learn. Maybe a roster can be made. So I guess pp..can move in and out of the challenge as they wish. ..

Just an idea.... let me know what you think... suggestions are welcomed as well cuz I havent figured out any the details yet...

Sounds like it could be fun actually, and very helpful. I'm in a personal "no stylists" challenge, so with the need to try new things being hard to resist, this could be a nice resource.

@ chelseatiara Thanks for your reply... Feel free to post any youtube or blog tutorials or of protective styles that we can use. I am current trying to look through tutorials and narrow down the styles.

I have some beautiful updo's and variations on buns... when I'm done with this challenge can't nobody tell me nuffin...

I was thinking we would do a new style every 2 weeks and in those two weeks each of us has to attempt the style at least 3 times within the two weeks. Still working it out..

Any recommendation would be appreciated. Feel free to PM me.

I say great idea but I doubt your title catch the eye of those passing through threads. One thing I've learned is that your titles have to be catchy or they'll be overlooked, I'm sure not intentionally but not everyone has time to read all threads. Maybe something like - "teach us how to do your favorite PS" or something like. Or, "Need 12 Volunteers." That way you have a style per month. If you get more than 12 interested then great. Or, maybe you/we/all of us can lurk the protective style threads that were started time and time again and ask a few of the ladies to come in and show a "how-to." I think you will have to go and find these styles rather than the styles coming to you. Just my 2cents.
