Anyone Who Does NOT Need to Use a Daily Moisturizer?

I just discovered a great new conditioner (which I am raving about in another thread) that makes my hair ridiculously soft and shiny. More so than it's ever been before. It makes me wonder whether or not I need to use a daily moisturizer because my hair maintains its softness up until my next wash (I wash every 3 to 4 days).

Is there anyone out there whose conditioners are so good and moisturizing that you don't need to use a daily moisturizer anymore?

*Raising hand* I do not use a daily moisturizer. I know there's some people looking at my post like I am on Georgia Brown but I don't. my hair always feels soft and moisturized after deep conditioning.

Normally I do not, but since the winter I notice that when I get home from work my hair is dry. It is not like that on the weekend when I am home, so I think it is the heat at work.

i always wondered about people who dont moisturize every day. i never had a conditioner make my hair feel like i didnt have to moisturize. my hair always felt kinda dry even after i wash.

NY, what conditioner do you use?

I hardly use any products in my hair after I wash it. Not using anything daily works for me. The reason I stopped using products frequently is because it was weighing my hair down and making it flat.

The routine I've been using since my last relaxer over 3 weeks ago is this (I do it every 3 days):

- DC on dry hair with Aubrey Organics GPB for 15 to 20 minutes (with heat)

- clean hair with diluted Cream of nature shampoo (3 teaspoons mixed in 1 cup of water in a spray bottle)

- apply Aubrey Organics White Camellia Conditioner for about 2 to 3 minutes (THIS is what has made a BIG difference in my hair!!!)

- apply a dime to nickle sized amount of Salerm 21

- rollerset using the low/cool setting

Although my winter hair care routine is the exception ( I do need more moisture between washes), During milder months it is not just my conditioning that aids in moisture retention for me. My leave-ins have a HUGE part of it. My leave-in step really does keep the moisture going after conditioning. And I have only a few conditioners that really do infuse true moisture in to help, as well.

This conditioner just SAT on my hair. :look: Shows how we can all be so different. I did not like it at all.

I don't moisturize. I wash my hair every time I go to the gym, which is 2-3 times per week. If I have a week where I don't go to the gym, it will only get washed once. In between washes I use either my homemade rosemary oil, or a pomade like H2H End All on my ends daily.

Since my hair is thin and fine, I don't like a lot of product weighing it down so the carrier for my rosemary oil is jojoba, which is light and my hair loves, and I find a little pomade goes a long way.

You use the Fermodyl (sp?) as a leave in right?

I don't NEED to use a daily moisturizer. There are a lot of days where I don't moisturize my hair. Sometimes I just don't feel like it.

I don't use a daily moisturizer. My hair would so weighed down and greasy if I was mositurizing it every day.:nono:
