The end results was a poofy- ish sleek blowout. I am going to put some finishing shaping pomade on my hair and wrap it. It should be pretty fluffy - straight come morning. Also I was just learning technique with this brush so next time should be better. Like another poster said long slow strokes are key. Also I would suggest a good heat protectant / anti moisture / reverted with this. It in my opinion does not get as hot as a flat iron and your hair may revert faster because of that. I know this blowout won't last as long as a flat iron would. But that's okay with me.
Nevertheless, it gave me better results than blowdrying ever has. I suck at blowing out my hair and it always looks dry and feels rough and crispy when I'm done. Not to mention it takes me forever and 3 days. With this brush, my hair was soft and fluffy and it only took about 45 minutes or so. It didn't get all the way down to the roots, though. There was a little "new growth" puffiness after using the brush.
and let it airdry overnight. Today, before brushing, I used some ORS Olive Oil Heat Protectant and Ultra Sheen Creme Satin Press that I've been having for about 29 years now.
