Hey guys. I need to do my aphogee treatment, relaxer & color(semi permanent) in November.
In what order do I do these & how much time in between?
Thank you!

Back in the day, my stylist would relax and then do the aphogee treatment the same day.

I would wait 2 weeks on the color.

Isn't it better to do a protein treatment before a relaxer to make it stronger?

Well, there's no real rhyme or reason when using my protein and reconstructor treatments.

I do a reconstructor 2 weeks prior to relaxer, Affirm 5 n 1 reconstructor immediatley after relaxer and a protein treat 2 weeks after relaxer. After that it's whatever I feel like. I need to make it more accurate. But I don't use Aphogee because it's super strong. I might use it maybe once a year and that's only if I'm experiencing major damage.

Ok,thanks. So I'm assuming it really doesn't matter when I do the protein (before or after) the relaxer. The most important is to do the color after the relaxer & wait 2 weeks.

Thank you!

Semi-permanent color can be done the same day as a relaxer. I have had this done several times in the past whn I used to use semis.
