congratulations!!!!!! hy husband LOVES my hair bsl BUT i am unsure YET if i do then he said he would rather a weave than a twa.... SMDH so i will wear protective styles then

WOOOOOOWWWW!!! I missed your notification. I am here now though. I LOVE your BC. I know you are sooo happy to be free of the relaxed ends. Tell your husband that your hair will grow back (maybe longer than before).
I AGREE with BostonMaria. And you have been saying you thought our hair was similar and I agree. :yep:My curls looked similar to yours when I had shorter hair. They were pretty loose and weren't really springy like I wanted. And the longer my hair got, the wavier it looked. My puffs never looked like bad *** - and after a while, it just flopped over. Your top waves looks just like mine did. I never really took pictures of my hair short (close up) but from what I remember from so long ago, you are really close to my hair twin.

What products are you using?

I can't wait to see how your hair grows!!!!

Wow! I guess I called that one on our hair being similar. It's really weird b/c I've been overnight DCing and thinking my curls are going to coil and boing anyday now! :lachen: NO SUCH! I have some Type 2 pieces and 3A. I have some 3B. Mostly, it's wavy with big, open curls! Darn, that's what I get for lusting after all that coily hair porn. I gotta find more hair comparisons now. I expected it to be wavy, but I thought the curls would close more. It's MAD THICK though! No scalp showing. :) Overall, I'm just happy that my transition is over. I'm only concerned with hair typing for product reasons and realistic styling. Don't want to be trying to get certain styles if I can't.

Fave products right now: CONDISH, CONDISH, CONDISH! My hair :loves: it!

DCs- Motions Moisture Plus, Mizani Moisturefuse, Elucence Moisture Balancing, Yes to Carrots Mask, Keracare Humecto.

Regular Condish- HE TT, HE LTR, Tigi Bedhead Moisture Maniac, Yes to Carrots.

Leave in Condish- My spray bottle with water & the hard to get out last of the last from any of the above condishes, Coconut Milk Leave in.

Protein- Sparingly!! Giovanni Protein

Shampoo- Sparingly!! Keracare Sulfate-free Moisturizing Detangling, Motions Neutralizing or Elucence for Clarifying only once every 3 weeks.

Styling- Garnier Fructis Wax, Shea Moisture Curl Smoothie, Coconut Oil, Paul Mitchell Gloss Drops, EVOO.

It looks good!! Your hair type looks similar to mine. Although I have a couple of different types (mom says its always been that way).

Thanks. It had been so long, I didn't remember a lot about my texture.

The back is VERY loose...the loosest part 2 & 3. The crown is 2/3 and prone to frizz...thickest, waviest part. Front and perimeter of sides is 3A/B. This is going to present some styling complications. But I'm natural so I'll manage! That's what I wanted. :)
 
You are my BC hero :woot:

One day I will get the nerve to do the BC. Maybe once I get closer to my 1 year mark.

You look to be around mostly 3a to me. I consider the 2's to be wavy, not curly and you look curly ;)
