I'm confused, are these the same thing? When my hair gets to shoulder length- my usual breaking point, I want something that will strengthen my hair. Biotin really broke my skin out so I stopped taking that.

Thanks, iCandey. Can someone tell me the difference though? Or are they more alike?

Biotin is a B vitamin. B vitamins work best when they are taken together - SYNERGY.

I thought biotin was one of the B-complex vitamins (b7)?

Yes biotin is B-7 or Vitamin H. B-Complex is multiple B vitamins in one tablet.HTH

Biotin is a vitamin that just thickens the hair strands when your hair growths. Since it thickens, I guess it helps retain growth and makes your hair stronger.

I would get B-Complex which probably has a little biotin in it. It has all the B vitamins u need for hair. I'm getting this once I run out of my Super Hair Energizer vitamins. They work for my hair but Im tired of having to order them online.

Hope that helps!
