Big Chop After Hair Fell out from Texturizer

Hello Ladies,
I do not know how to add photos to the text so you all will have to go to my fotki page, my apologies. So I had gotten a texturizer last year (2008) a few times (Aug, Oct, Dec) and my hair feel out really bad as you will see in my fotki I mean in clumps every time I combed it. So I had been contemplating cutting my hair and decided to do it after my mom passed away at the end of March of this year, I figured what the heck, might as well cut all of this dead hair off. So I cut it in April and there is a update picture and a picture of my hair that I took at the end of July and it grew a bit. I am so happy I found you ladies on LHCF. I have been taken pictures of my progress thanks to your tips. Letta me know what you all think.

Thank you ma'am :0). I decided to get a texturizer after being natural for 9 years. never again no more chemicals for me.
