For ladies who self braid, how do you keep your real hair from sticking out of the braid once you braid further down than where your real hair stops?

for me, putting my hair in smaller braids (slightly smaller than a no. 2 pencil )does the trick and keeping moisture on the ends. last but not LEAST keep your braids tied down at night with a full satin cap !

when I braid my hair I use a lite gel, this helps to keep the braids nice looking and helps with the matching of textures (natural and synthetic) together. I hope this makes sense, it's kinda hard to explain.
