Question. My edges are still taking a long time to catch up with the back of my hair. I have gained considerable length but my slow growing edges are really pissing me off at this point.

Do you think I should braid up my hair like guys do, (not tight) and spray it with water and oils each day and try to keep touch up's to a minimum.
 
Hi. I don't think you should put any braids in your hair at the moment. B/cos you want that area to grow putting braids in will further put stress on that area. I think you should just leave that area alone and wear protective styles that are not causing any strees on the hair line. Why don't you keep your own hair in twist and massage the edges with vitamin e oil or jojoba oil.

I have never had any bad thining edges but I have a patch of thin hair in the front. I have been massaging them with vit 3 oil and it has helped. It will take time though so be patient
