I'm loving the ease of doing my 2 pocahontas plaits on soaking wet hair. Do you think that would cause breakage overtime since the hair expands as it dries. Should I let it airdry loose for a little while?
I have a really hard time braiding my soaking wet hair. It's too much manipulation and my ends suffer when I do it. To do braidouts I left my hair dry a little and then braid it.
I have done this for a while and I experience less breakage. You could put your hair into plaits before washing, wash with the braids (which reduces shedding) and then just let the hair dry with in the braids. The only way you will experience more breakage is if the braids are tight
