Castor Oil Suggestions?

Hi,

Does anyone know if ORS or anyone else makes a creamy castor oil lotion (kind of like ORS' carrot oil). I use the carrot oil now, but I don't like the smell and I think my hair sheds more when I use it. I want to make the switch to castor oil b/c I read on this board that it's good for your ends. Any one have any castor oil product suggestions?

I don't know of a company that makes a castor oil lotion, but you could always buy a regular bottle of the stuff and just mix some into your favorite hair creme. That would probably work pretty well.

I use B&B Castor Oil moisturizing lotion before applying oils. I haven't used it in awhile, since my hair can stay moisturized now from wash day to the next, , you can probably just make your own moisturizer and add castor oil to the mix, that's what I will be doing tonight.

Plain ole castor oil or jamaica black castor oil- as a pre-poo treatment does the trick for me. Soft- moisturized, thick hair is the end result.
