I bought Cathy's first book about 6 yrs ago, I've since lost it. I know she promoted air drying, but I could not remember if she used direct heat (her curling iron) after every wash, condition, air dry?

Yes, she used direct heat after every wash. :yep:

Thank you Taz, that's what I thought but I wasn't sure!!

she used to use the "curling iron method" of smoothing out the new growth each week. She blowdrys and flatirons weekly to this day.

Wasn't she against blow drying as a relaxed head?

Yes, no brushing or blow drying! lol....but I guess she changed her mind when she went natural. She did help me start my HHJ though, so shout out to Kathy Howse:)

Cathy needs to stop playing games and trim her ends

Yeah, I used her methods when I first started my hhj also...now that I have cut my hair I'm thinking about flat ironing once a week (to maintain my style) Blow drying never worked well for my hair though.

Maybe roller set on large gray rollers and flat iron roots....no blow dryer needed.
