Is there a ceramic flat iron that has a 1 inch plate (or around there. it can be less but more would be too hard to get to the roots for me) that costs less than $40? I was planning on purchasing the jilbere, but wanted to see if I could get away with less?
I don't think my Jilbere cost more than $40. I bought it at Sally's a few months back...I don't think I would have paid more than $40...maybe I am memory-challenged when it comes to hair products.
I think I need to get one of these. How hot do they get? I have really thick hair so I can not use anything that does not get really hot. Especially since my hair is not that long.
I just purchased one this weekend from Sallys for $42.95 by Helen of Troy. The one by Jilbere looked like it was too small for my hair. The plate looked really small. The one I purchased was a 1 1/2 in plate and its ceramic and infrared heat. It was a little more that what I wanted to spend but it was worth it. It gets really hot (I used mine at a 6) and it heats up quick.
The Jilbere ceramic procelain iron is great and it comes in the 2 1/2 inch 1 1/2 or 1 inch its on www.sallybeauty.com. It just came out about a week or two ago so i would call Sallys before i go because i had to go to New Jersey to get mine and i live in New York.
