Go check me out, ladies It's nothing all that great, just a few photos of my hair. I wouldn't put pics up before because my hair was a hot mess. After seeing all of these beautiful heads of hair, I was too ashamed to put up ragged photos of my hair. Now that it looks fairly decent, I want to share. I want to get to bra strap and I'm sure I can make it by 2007, hopefully.

Leave comments and let me know if you have any suggestions on how I can style and protect my hair. The only thing I do now is flat iron once a week and cover it. My hair is covered 95 percent of the time. Trust me, my hair has come a looooooooong way.

My grandma and aunt thought I had on a wig at Christmas, that's how bad my hair used to look. They were used to me wearing wigs. I have to thank you ladies for all of the wonderful tips. I could not have made it this far without y'all.

I checked out your album and I left some comments. I don't see the things I wrote though :confused: They might be on there twice so Sorry In Advance lol. Well I think you should put your before pictures in there they might inspire some one like little ol' me. Thanks for sharing!

Girl, before pics? Are you kidding? I wouldn't even take pics then. LOL. I cut my hair off in 03.2004 .twa. and then went to a stylist that jacked me up in 12.04. My hair looked like Whipeffectz1 before pics, not trying to talk about the state of her hair, but that's how mine looked, exactly. I just recovered from that really. Thanks for checkin' me out. You have some nice hair girly.

I just checked out your hair Jala, and I think that it's very pretty. I like your flat ironed results. Stick with us and you'll get your desired length in no time!:)
 
Thank you ladies. I read your comments and thanks for the support. I know that y'all are the truth when it comes to hair care. I have to credit y'all for my success because I was doing all the wrong stuff to my poor hair. My hair hasn't been this healthy EVER. I am at my optimum moisture level and I am retaining my hair by stretching my relaxers.

I have got it down to four relaxers a year. I use NTM leave in and conditioner and I use Sally's generic Aloe Rid shampoo. I use Kemi Oyl to seal. Very little products huh? It doesn't take a lot for my hair and it is fine, so it doesn't take much to weigh it down.

I know nobody asked for those tid bits, but I thought I'd share what I use anyway. Maybe it'll help someone else.

Very nice results! Now that your hair is healthy and you have a good regimen going on, your hair will just grow and grow!

your hair looks great!;) it has a nice, soft sheen to it. do you use the ntm leave in on wet or dry hair? i want to get some but have heard different ways of using this.

Hi JewelleNY, thanks for checking me out. I use the NTM leave in on wet and dry hair. In the pics, I sectioned my hair and applied the NTM leave in on my wet hair and sealed w/ Kemi Oyl, blew dry and that was it. I usually apply it at night until my next wash day to my dry hair.
I think you should definitely give it a try, it is a great product line. My hair is very picky, but my hair LOVES this stuff.

you are starting off at a nice healthy starting point girl! Very full and thick! Your hair will take off in no time with a good solid regimen! It looks so soft and touchable too:grin:
 
Y'all givin' me a big head.:lol: Thanks for the praise, Ladies. I am inspired by all of y'all in some way or another. I can't wait until I can put it in a bun. Right now I am tucking the ends and pinning it, which is working for me now.

sistaslick, thanks for the pw to your album, your hair is so very beautiful. Girl, you know it's funny, my hair used to be so dry and brittle, now it is always soft and touchable. Shout out to MonaLisa and Sylver, the NTM pushas. LOL.
