I had the same reaction you did. I'm heavily considering a purchase of these products. Let us know how you like them if you do go for it. ;)

Seriously considering purchasing this.... her hair looked amazing. From soft cotton to beautiful defined curls...... yup, next on the to try products list.

:dollar:Okay, I couldn't help it ya'll. PJ was on the rampage and forced me to order the Jojoba Jelly, Curling Custard and Knot Today from Kinky-Curly. :yep: Oh well, guess I'll be a slave to that job o' mine just a little longer. :ohwell: What I spend on products I save on salon bills, so it's all a wash, right?

Because I am such a Product Junkie, I took one look at the photo and then read what the products did and ordered the Jojoba Jelly & Spiral Spritz. If these products actually do what they claim to do on my crazy texturized hair, then they have got themselves a faithful customer...I'll try it when it comes, take pictures and immediately let you all know how it works. I cannot wait...oh shoot, I almost forgot I have a blowout right now! Anyhoo, I'll probably end up sweating this thing out by the time the package arrives. Stay tuned :)

It looks like the difference between combed hair and air dried (not combed) hair.
Yes, you know I'm a born sceptic! LOL!

I'm always the pessimist (probably didn't spell that right, I know), but her hair was airdried with no product which would make a lot of people's hair frizz out like that.

Adding moisturizer/oil or SOMETHING in her hair would probably give her the same or similar results.

Not saying that the products are bad, but they are trying to fool people into thinking that they are amazing, when they would do the same job as a curl actiovator gel.

Im not natural yet, but I want to be very soon. Im actually transitioning now. 3 months. Anyways the question. Well these products bring out the curl/wave definition of a twa or 1-2inchs of hair come out?

-Trust

I think it is good to note that even if other products do the same, these are saying they are all natural ingredients which is right down my path. I don't see that if actually claimed to be the only product to do this. So I will be curious and waiting for a pay check to try them. :)

Why don't you email them and ask them. Then post back here with their response. I'm sure others would like to know the answer too. :)

I doubt that. If that was the case and it was that simple, somebody on here would have been posting all over this board about their discovery.

We don't really know if kinky-curly did anything to the first picture to get it to be full like that. It may have dried that way on its own or it may have airdried curly, but not DEFINED curly and PERHAPS they picked it out to make the curls look less defined. That would have made the second picture look even more dramatic. At any rate, the results are amazing IMO if they did no manipulation to the airdried hair and it looks like it does in the second picture by using 2 products. I wonder how much product was used to get that look. I think it would look better if it was a little fuller in the second picture though.

I will look forward to the reviews by our fellow LHCF members.

Wow! Thank goodness I ordered my Jojoba jelly last night!
I can't wait to see what this thing looks like!

Do you know when you will be getting it and trying it?

Did you get anything else? I saw that the Curling Custard is backordered..4/15/05. Is LHCF buying up this stuff already??

I think anyone who buys should say that they heard about it here. Perhaps they will be a sponsor if enough orders are received over time.

Even if it's a good product, hair complanies use the same strategies for marketing.

The first pic looks like what any coarse 3b/c hair would look like if it was just shampooed (probably not the best shampoo either), then air dried and combed through adding no product. It is definately combed because there is 0 curl defintion, just frizz.

The second pic looks like conditioned hair with good products on it.

It mentions nothing about what else they did/used on her hear.

I'm just saying that it is not only THIS product that would make her hair look like that. Just that this product is probably not a miracle product like it claims to be. Miracle? No. Good? Probable.

Also, always keep in mind that companies are trying to sell their product... commericial advertising is rarely completely honest, no matter what the product is.

I took all of this into consideration before deciding I would take my chances with a purchase. :look:

I just wanted to mention to you guys, that this lady makes the stuff herself... before you start thinking that its a huge business... she's a one woman show... the last I heard... I dunno if she's using big marketing tactics...

Her products look good...however, having a similar hair texture I do believe her hair was combed out or picked out in the first pic because you can still see the curly hair texture but it seems very separated :)

Please let us know how you like these. I would love to invest in some for my daughter. Her hair looks like the before pic after a wash.....:wallbash:
