I have the one you pictured and also one with a temp control. I love both, but don't use heat very often.

The Chi's make your hair feel like silk.

I love mine. It makes my hair shiny and I have very dull and dry hair.. The picture in my avatar was done with a CHI. It's by far the best iron i've ever had. I still would caution against using it a lot but for those special times when you want to flat iron, you've got the best! HTH!:) BTW, check out ebay... I got mine there brand new for 85 bucks with a one year warranty.

just as a caution when getting Chi's from ebay. Yes, it comes with a warranty in the box, but the warranty will not be honored by Chi, if it's not purchased from an authorized seller - such as Folica or some beauty salons. You can send it to some place they recommend for a cost of $35 to repair. Also, there are plenty of fakes out there.

But, $79 from Costco is good and Target has then on sale this week too.

ETA: Warranty info from Chi Website: http://www.farouk.com/chi/warranty.htm

I love my CHI flatiron! That is what my stylist used in my signature pic (Nov update). It make my hair so silky, bouncey, and shiny! Just remember to use a heat protectant.:)

Chis are good, but I'd get the one with the temp control. The original Chi goes up to 410 degrees and is not adjustable.

Thank you ladies! I think I'll order it from Costco for $75.99. The shipping and handling is already included in the price. Plus with Costco you can always return it whenever and get your full amount of money back although they are not an "authorized" seller.

Believe it or not 410 degrees is perfect temp for my hair. I thinking about this as a gift for someone. We use the same exact temp.

For me as well. I've had this iron and it's great. I also have the Chi Turbo for almost 2 years. I like them both, but the original without the temp control works better on my hair:grin:

This is the one that I have. I am looking to upgrade to the turbo with the temperature control however. 410 degrees is a bit too hot for me. But aside from that, I love it. It does make for the silkiest hair around!

The Turbos have temp controls. And I believe felt around the outside of the barrel to protect your hands from the heat while holding them.
