Just wanted to let everyone know how amazing coconut oil is. I've read some of the hype about it and thought it was just the same as any other oil. I tried it with Carol's daughter hair milk Wednesday night on my twist out and it works wonders. My hair feels so soft (I didn't even think my hair could feel this soft) and my hair is shiny but not greasy. I usually have to moisturize my hair every day while in a twist out but it's Friday afternoon and I haven't had to do anything to it.

. It does kind of act up in very cold weather, though. I usually don't experience problems with it if I'm wet sealing when it's cold out, but if I'm dry oiling my hair it feels a bit stiff when it's very cold out. I've tried sweet almond oil, and it performs kinda similarly to coconut oil, in my opinion. Quite expensive, though. I still think coconut oil is better
don't get me started. i didnt know it would do that till a few winters ago my flat ironed hair was doused in vatika oil...my curls were frozen into place! i was freaking out till MIL was like well...that means your hair is really moisturized lol
