coffee rinses

I have the cafe moreno shampoo bar and would like to use a coffee rinse along with it on my mid week wash. For those of you that use coffee what type do you use? I was told not to use instant coffee because it contains additives that can damage hair.

I use some peppermint flavored ground coffee we got for free. No sense in using the good stuff on your hair - it has no tastebuds!

Right! I just dont want to damage my hair while trying to stimulate my scalp. Does the peppermint make it tingle more?

Nope, not that I can tell. I figure they didn't actually use 'real' peppermint oil, as it would have made your mouth tingle, too.
