I was wondering how those with grey hair and colored hair manage when wearing extension braids. I have a lot of grey ( about 85%) and dye my hair with blasol powder which is quite similar to Biggen.
I like to put on extension braids as a means to help me extend my stretching time. The problem I have are my greys: my hair grows fast and after 3 to 4 weeks, my hair starts looking really ugly:sad: with the new growth being completely grey.
Last time I wore braids, I had to take them down after a month:nono:.
I was wondering if some of you have ever used a dye over extension braids to cover grey without any damaging effect. Any good advice ladies ?

My mum asks me to do that when I braid her hair. I dye with dark and lovely the day before braiding and will touch up the new growth a month in. As long as you are only doing the new growth I don't see much of a problem. Just make sure you use a moisturising spray once a day like African pride or Komaza care.
Only thing is i dont know much about powder dyes and whether they are bitty...

I'm not sure if you could trust a thorough rinse-out of chemical dye with the hair in braids. If you use indigo after 100% natural henna, it could die your NG black.... see video below. The same poster also has a henna/indigo tutorial
