I have a FHI Ceramic Ion flat-iron. Today I bumped my hair with the iron set on 150. I'm wondering if I can do that 2x a week and not get heat damage? I didn't bump all of my hair, just a few random parts that got flat lastnight. I have my hair cut into a chin-length bob and I'm planning to wrap it each night, but I think I'll need to bump some parts of it 2x a week to keep it fresh. Oh I have 4a relaxed hair and I deep condition 1x a week.

Thanks ladies

^^I do this all the time and have been for years. I have yet to have heat damage from bumping my ends (esp. just doing random parts that need touching up) and I use a higher heat setting than you do. I normally do it from 280-300. I am a fine haired, relaxed head if that helps any.

yea, it's probably not the absolute best thing to do, but i honestly don't think it will hurt your hair much. that's a really low temp-you'll be fine.

As long it doesn't cause breakage or massive amounts of split ends then you are fine.
