Thanks ladies for all the kind words it makes the hard work worth it to get the support from the LHCF ladies. The ladies on this board inspire me to keep up the TLC. I fawn over some many heads of hair relaxed and natural. I am very paranoid walking around with my hair out. I keep remembering tales of caution concerning winter coats rubbing against the hair. My hair can’t hold a curl and I am paranoid about putting more heat on it. What’s a girl to do? I may try rollers in my hair.

Jcoily-My relaxed hair was not as long as the length now. When I was in college it was a nice length but I don’t remember it being evenly long. I was amazed that my hair is somewhat even except for my bangs. When relaxed the length was mostly in the back. I remember having really thick hair as a little girl but never really Arm pit length. My goal is to be Armpit which I am some inches away from but I may have to change it to bra strap. If I had bra strap, I would swinging the heck out of my hair.

Pohanktas- I do enjoy the change. I am a little paranoid regarding the heat. My man likes it. He said he thought he would only rely on pictures in order to see my hair straight. My son’s best friend’s mom was like who knew those little puffs was holding all that hair. Of course I got the why don’t you perm your hair?

Ayeshia- The maxiglide is nothing but the truth once you learn how to work it. I don’t like the little combs.

Cateyes- I wish it was as long as your daughters. She is too cute.

Jrae- Thanks. That’s my baby. I love me some him with his hyper self. :D

Black Cardinal- I will trade the bangs for your length anyday.

Marie- You know I was mad I didn’t have the long bangs like Southern Gal. I tried to work with what I got.

Don't be skerd to wear that pretty hair out every once in awhile. YOu have a GANG of hair!

Thank you. This board makes me paranoid. I keep thinking it is gonna fall off. Lovely Z makes me paranoid because she is always wearing a bun.

Thanks ladies. If you only knew how discouraged I was with that dang on Maxiglide the first time I used it. I had to redo my hair after watching the Maxiglide DVD. My cousin dusted the ends for me so it would not look scraggly.

You and your hair look great. If you don't mind my saying this, I think that you favor Jennifer Hudson facially (which is a complement because I think she's very pretty!). Thanks also for including how you did it. I'm natural going on 7 years now but I still can't flat iron my hair to save my life!

REALLY great progress, girl!!!! Beautiful job!!! And you look so, so pretty in those pics! :) Your features look like a little doll.

Keep up the awesome work!!! :D

I'm still mad that u couldn't wait for me..lol

Thanks Kinikakes, silvergirl, Sylver, Yanka, One in a million, taraglam, DSD, shalom , Netta and the rest of the posters. It makes me feel good hearing kind words from so many members that I lust over hairwise.

Sylver- There were a certainly times I wished I had waited. You know I am an impatient Aries.

My aunt asked me if I had a weave in my hair last night. I see why folks have perms now. I sweated the heck out of my hair and it started reverting back. :lachen: Thanks AMR and ClassyEbonygirl.

I'm late - but your growth is very impressive! :)

What is your ultimate length goal? It looks like you could be at mid-back in 2007.
