Do you think it would be harmfull, good, or neither/no difference to do this Daily

Rinse your hair in the morning, squeeze it dry
1.Then put on a regular conditioner that moisturizes and strengthens
2.Put your hair in a bun...and go on about your day
3.Then at night maybe put alittle bit more on and a baggie
-So you'll have a conditioner in your hair all day and rinsing it every morning, im thinking it would be good for you or no harm because you'll have a clean scalp and hair and good moisture

If anyone has ever tried it-
-did your hair stay moisturized all day, or did the conditioner dry and your hair get poofy or anything
-did you switch conditioners
-did you ever use one that tingles/stimulates and what were the results
-when you stopped did your hair suffer from being used to it

Thanks

My routine is not far off from that. But I sometimes use some other kind of moisturizer, not conditioner. Lately, I've been using a leave in conditioner. I don't reapply it at night, though. My hair stays moisturized because it is tucked away. Mostly when I take it down at night, it is not even fully dry. For a while I was using a baggie, but I don't anymore. It was helpful, though.

I have had good results doing this. But if you have a low boredom tolerance, you will tire of doing the same thing/wearing the same style all of the time.

I wouldnt recommend using a regular conditioner made for rinsing out in that way for daily use, because from your hair being constantly wet with conditioner 24 hrs all day everyday without giving your hair a chance to dry in between may cause your hair to feel mushy after a while leading to breakage.

The daily rinsing part sounds good. Maybe as an alternative you should use a light liquid or cream leave-in conditioner on the ends after rinsing, then bun it up.

i've only done the 24 hr conditioning thing a few times and that wasn't on purpose because my hair was real tangly and i got distracted with other tasks/fell asleep without rinsing.

I think you will be fine. I have been doing a similar routine almost 3 1/2 years straight and had no bad results from doing so.

I do step 1 & 2 daily and you would not believe I am 5 weeks post. I look like I am 8 weeks post.

My hair is thriving off of this method. I am doing other things as well but I think this is really helping my hair.

BTW, I am using MNT conditioner (enough said!)

the 'Regular' conditioner i am thinking about using is switching with keracare humecto, kereacare dry and itchy, or Mane Tail...i want to use Aphogee protein treatment with this everyday, the 2min. one,so my hair doesnt get mushy...like put it in and rinse it out then the conditioner...Dont Know

It will work. If it doesn't, then stop. Sometimes you have to try different things until you find what works.

I wet my hair every morning, remove excess water, sometimes I use a conditioner, oil it, and flip it or bun it. I have been doing this for 15+ years with no problem.

I do this routine nightly and it works for me. I use Tresemme conditioners for the most part and sometimes Dove. I shampoo monthly, but when I've been using thick waxes (beeswax), I poo my hairline only to remove it, maybe once a week.

I pretty much do that also. I've been doing it for almost three years. The best advice I can give is that you 'listen' to your hair... if it responds well to this regimen, keep on going! :cheer: Buena suerte!

Me too, though not as long. My photo album has photos of the change in the condition of my hair over 3 months of doing this. The only thing I don't do is sleep with a baggie (and I apply an oil over the top when my hair is wet to help seal in the moisture). I tie my hair down at night with a satin/silk scarf (no oil added in the evenings unless I'm shampooing the next day).

Conditioners I use depend on my hair condition:
Reconstructing: Eqyss Mega-Tek or TiGi DumbBlonde
Moisturizing: Rivas Silicon Mix  (Thanks MonaLisa for the new batch!!

My hair has NEVER been healthier. But, like the other ladies have said...you'll have to give it a try and see what works for YOU! I don't mind wearing a bun E'RY DAY!

i've been doing this also for a while now and i really like it! my hair stays moist. it used to get dry (especially in the inner layers at the crown.) but daily rinsing helps it stay moist! even if i skip a day rinsing.

i wouldn't recommend using protein too often, only because i've heard your hair can become overly dry from too much protein.

i've both left in regular conditioner or rinsed out and used leave-in. here is a sample of what i do:

AM: rinse hair while in the shower (rinsing out yesterday's condish), get out the shower, apply Elucence Moisture Balancing Condish, comb thru, pull hair into a bun or braid & go about my day.

PM: put some Jojoba or Almond Oil or leave-in condish (or a combo of all 3) on my hair. Concentrating on the ends & running the rest all over the hair.

as everyone said, listen to your hair. i have great success with this, my sister hates it. but IMO, water is the BEST moisturizer and its using condish and water daily (or almost daily) has been great for my hair!

So, it ok to do this daily? I asked b/c I just used it and I was thinking about doing it daily to really strength my hair.
