Well a few months back, I cut my hair to about chin length due to all the breakage I had been getting. I braidied my hair for about four months and switched to an Affirm relaxer which the hair dresser told me, would not break my hair down as much as another relaxer, which allowed it to be texlaxed. Great! Well now IM realizing not really.
At the point where the older straighter hair, and the new texlaxed hair is meeting, it is breaking like crazy
. I see myself heading back to square one because I have all these broken hairs all over my head, and my hair which I finally thickened up, is heading back to square one
. I can just run my hands through and theres more hair. You can see where the hair broke at the texlaxed parts
.b
What should I do? Relax the newer hair to match whats at the ends or just wait it out?
I did an aphogee treatment, and applied 911, and that did NOTHING.
I dont know what to do now...this is so depressing

. That protein stuff never seems to work well for me.
. I know it's late and I probably shouldn't say it, but IMO that did more harm than good. If your demarcation line is breaking and your textures are fighting you should really focus on moisture not strong proteins (at least not until you get that moisture level up). I am not comfortable at all with the idea of putting relaxer on dry breaking hair that is that close to the scalp. I don't know what products work for you, but I have NEVER heard anyone say that Aphogee Moisture Balance was good, for me it made my hair stick hard
