I have a D81M and a D83 paddle brush and I love both of them!
I use the D83 paddle brush for brushing through curls/rollersets and wrapping. It gets through my hair without brushing out too much curl. I NEVER would have thought about buying a brush like this, but I saw Macherieamour use one to wrap her hair and like somebody else said, it was on clearance at Sally's
. This brush feel really good on my scalp.
I use the D81M brush for smoothing (mostly edges). It's a combination of boar and nylon bristles.
