Ok I have finally found a decent BSS and I've heard only good things about Denman brushes. My question is which one do you use? I've heard the D3 and D4 get a lot of praise but what's the difference in terms of results and does one work better for a certain hair type? I'm a 4a/4b by the way.

I use a D3. Its good for detangling I don't use it that often, but it works well when I do.

I would really like to know, I want to get one, am 4 a/b bumping

Oh goodness now I'm confused

I checked out azul11's link and it SEEMS like the D4 would be appropriate and the D3 doesn't seem like a big deal..........ok screw it the PJ-itis has gotten the best of me and I'll just get both.

I think the D3 has more flexible bristiles which is handy when detangling. And I like that it has less rows.
