Hey you guys. I was just wondering how you guys detangle your hair. Sometimes I have trouble detangling even when i put a moisturizing deep conditioner in my hair. It's weird cause I find that even when I do that my hair feels really hard and brittle ( its bad u can hear it when u comb it ) Any advice?

I find that it helps if I wash, condition, and detangle my hair in sections. If I tried to wash my whole head at once and then detangle, I definitely would have problems!

Also, I fingercomb my hair if a particular section seems tangled, gently separating it with my fingers first and then combing that section carefully with my wide-tooth comb, being sure to use loads of conditioner.

I wash my hair in the shower and I find that combing it out with a wide tooth comb prior to getting into the shower works well. Then while in the shower I will use the wide tooth comb some more or if my hair feels tangled I will use only my fingers. I also start at the bottom of my hair and work my way up.
