Are twists like braids meaning should you still give your hair a break? And ifso what does a break for a natural head afro? I'm doing them without extensions do I still a break at all?

If anything I would just change up the parts.
I've been wearing twists with my hair for years, and it's thrived. It's only 'breaks' are getting washed, usually.
The only part I really focus on moving around is my center part - I angle it different directions. I fingerpart for the twists, so I'm pretty certain I'm hitting different 'parts' every time I do my hair.
