the comb that changed my life was the conair shower comb, its only 2 dollars and it glides over your hair so easily. Ive heard other women rave about the jilbere shower comb as well but I have never tried it. they both can be found at Sally's and you wont be disappointed.
i just bought one with the weird teeth (looks like it has two sets of teeth)... the jury's still out on it cause i had to be really careful with it....it felt like it was going to break my hair if i was too rough with it
Yes I was just thinking about that when I finally saw the shower comb that eceryone talks about. I like my detangler so much I'm in no rush to but this one.
It is from Mecca and I bought it at Sally's. It is faux tortoise shell and the twines kinda curve out. Combine that with the right conditioner and I have no tangles and very few hairs if any in the comb. HTH
I use a hair pick. A plastic one. I have a shower comb too but my pick does it for me. The pick and my water spray bottle with distilled water work hand in hand. They're a team.
Sephora, I know the comb you are talking about. Those combs scuuure me. Thats just too many teeth for my hair. I have a Conair shower comb which looks just like the Jilbere.
I had been using this comb as my primary detangling comb (#300):
It's called Super Rake Detangling Comb and I purchased from Color Design Systems.com
Then, I started using the Jilbere shower comb in the shower but I've stopped using that one for now...
I just ordered this comb which is called "Super de-tangling Rake Comb" and it's from hairsense.com
I can't wait till I get that comb! I think the key for me is starting with a wide tooth comb and ending with a fine tooth comb to get a smooth look. I just needed a wider one to start the detangling. I also love these bone combs. I think they are worth every penny!
Hairlove,
I have that same big ole' bone comb. Like you said it is worth every penny. For me the wider the teeth the better. I have less hairs with this comb than with any other and it's great for me now that I'm extending touchups!
