Do you keep serveral bottles/jars of the same conditioners and moisturisers?

Well when i woke up this morning all my moisturiser was done.

I had some Olive oil in the bottle so i used that instead of the one in the jar. I've noticed my Keracare Humecto is also almost done.

But i was thinking to buy several jars of the stuff so i dont run out wen in need esp as my budget fluctuates daily. Student here!! LOL

Are there any ladies who do this?

I never wait for my favourite products to finish before I buy a replacement. I buy stuff I really like in salon sizes and when its about halfway done I buy the next bottle.

the OCD in me thinks one day I will go to the grocery store & there will be the great Olive Oil shortage of 2008... thus I buy everything in bulk

Definitely cause nowadays, you never know when your favorite product is going to be discontinued . It helps to keep extra on hand so you can search and find an alternative before you run out. :)

ITA! Some new bandwagon could start and I don't want to be waiting around for new shipments.

I keep 1 or two extra unopened bottles of like 90% of my hair and skin products :)

Some people laugh when they see my products, it looks like a spa.:drunk:

Yes- I'm a sucka for deals like they've got this deal at Superdrug for 2 John Frieda products for £6 and ofcourse I bought some glaze and conditioner I don't need (I told myself its to care for my lacefront). I also bought all 3 Aussie deep conditioners, the original, colour, and frizz - just in case they run out:rolleyes: Did I mention the 6 bottles of Giovanni Direct leave in I bought when I first joined to save on shipping costs?:look:

This could take forever so I'll just stop now...

every time i'm at a store that sells V05 conditioner, i compulsively buy 2-3 bottles. which is only $2-$3 dollars but still... my linen closet stays stocked. i can run out of products and be okay for a week... and if it's summer i don't even NEED product, i can leave a little of the V05 conditioner in my hair if need be. but life without conditioner is just not worth living! :lachen:

also, as far as ACV is concerned... i don't buy little bottles anymore. i buy the 1 gallon bottle. :look: i have 2 right now, one open and only like 1/6 of it has been used, the other unopened and sitting under the kitchen sink. i always have 1 gallon bottle in reserve. when i open the one under the sink, i will go buy another "reserve" bottle. :lachen:

I keep a couple of bottles of some products. I stock up especially if there is a sale. I'm on a Use it Up Challenge right now so I can clear the way to try some goodies I've had my eye on (VS So Sexy, Oyin Sugar Pomade, and Qhemet Amla and Olive Oil Cream).

Uh, you mean like this? :look:

Yes definitely, especially products that I have to order online. I keep up to 3 or more bottles/containers of my staple products. I just ordered two containers of Cantu leave-in even though I have two under my bathroom sink that haven't been opened and one that's barely been used. :spinning:

I am also a stock pile PJ especially products that I like when I know they are being discontinued.
I have the following stock piled I never want to have to go out and buy a conditioner for co washes.

DDTA-100 Bottles
DDGB-50 Bottles
Suave Milk & Honey 50-Bottles
White Rain Tropical Coconut-30-Bottles
Nature Gate conditioners-20
Praital Silkworm Rinse-3 Gallon Sizes
Praital Aloe Vera Rinse-3 Gallon Sizes
Lanza Protein Plus Shampoo Old Formula-2 Liter Sizes

Yes I do this now and did especially in college. I didn't have time to be going on wild goose chases when a staple ran out. I am a proud stockpiler.

Wow...now that's an impressive stockpile - I just wouldn't have the space to keep all of that.

I definitley keep extra bottles of products that I like. I keep several bottles of conditioner on hand and my closet looks like an aisle at Target. I keep extra toothpaste, deodorant, lotion, loofahs etc. Once I get down to two bottles of an item I'm off to buy more.

totally agree with this,, just lats night i bought 2 Vo5's and i buy multiples of EVERYTHING i like from clothes to food lol

Yes, yes, yes!!! I'm a compulsive stockpiler- DH teases and says I'm a "survivalist". I have multiples of everything- hair products (don't let me hit a sale!), household products/cleansers, pantry items, clothes: esp. white shirts and tee's (you can never have enough white shirts) and black pants.

I have had nightmares about running out of toilet paper!!!:eek2:

i pile up on toilet paper like nobody's bidness. i have a whole book shelf with nothing but toilet paper.
now hair products........i havent done that yet but i was just thinking about stocking up on my staple moisturizer because its made by a small all natural company and im afraid they might go out of business. and only one bss around here sales it anyway so this weekend i'm going to buy 2 more jars of it----but its 10-15 dollars per jar:nono:.
i'm on a budget now

I always keep my favorites stocked. I've got multiples of Organix, LeKair, Pantene Breakage Defense Mask, HE LTR, WRTC, amla & vatika oils and such on hand. Running out of a staple is not an option!!

I also keep Qhemet Products in stock. When she discontinued Sidr Tree Butter Balm, I was thrown for a serious loop. I thought I WOULD never get over that.

I KEEP the Olive Cream Detangler in stock. I don't even want to think of that one discontinuing, or her Heavy Cream and Burdock Root Butter Cream.

I shiver at the thought! :nono:

There are a few things I keep 2-3 deep in the stash:

HE Dangerously Straight
HE Long Term Relationship
Garnier Sleek & Shine leave in serum
Garnier Length & Strength leave in
Surge 14
Aphogee Green Tea & Keration Reconstructor
Qhemet Heavy Cream
Elasta QP H-Two
Joico Moisture Recovery Balm
Jerri Redding Natural Protein

These I stay with the liters or tubs:

Aveda DR
Aveda Brilliant
CPR
PC Corrector
Elucence MB line

I guess you can say I've been doing my personal 'use it up' challenge.

I'm trying to use everything I have before I buy anything new. I'm tired of looking at that stash when I know 1/2 of the stuff in there I RARELY use!

And I'm trying to organize my home!!!!

I stockpile products I order online, mostly to save on shipping. Sometimes to get free shipping, other times to avoid paying $6 over and over again to ship one bottle.
