YES! When I used it it itched until I washed it again. I don't know if I didn't get it all out or what but, I used it before going on a business trip and scratched like a dog

Mine doesn't, but I don't use the paste, and I rinse for 10 minutes to make sure I get it all out of my hair/off of my scalp. Usually, if my hair itches really badly, and I rinse it again (focusing on the itchy areas) the itching stops, which seems to indicate that there was something on my scalp there, ya know?
Try rinsing it out for a little longer, and see if it still itches....

I'm new to the site and I was actually going to purchase the oil tomorrow (along with some amla oil), but why use it if you're just going to rinse it out? what's the benefits of it? sorry if it sounds like an ignorant question...
