How do you do your hair (like two strand twists) when you share a room with roommates?

You just do them. I'm confused. Just do them in front of your mirror. Don't get your hair on their stuff. Easy Peasy

I was thinking about this too lol they will probably laugh when they see me traipsing around with a market bag on my head lol

I warned her beforehand that I will be looking crazy from time to time but its all in the name of healthy hair :yep:

You just do it. Unless she/they apologize for their hair practices (shed hair every single corner of the room and bathroom), you really shouldn't be explaining or apologizing in advance for anything.

LOL!! I went natural while living in the dorms, so my friends and future roommate got to learn a whole lot about natural hair with me. If you're doing something real elaborate, you're going to probably get weird looks and I say just explain what you're doing if y'all are friendly. I admit that I felt a bit self-conscious sometimes because none of my friends had to stay home because they had to twists, braid, shingle, or DC their hair. I made friends with people who had nice hair, but didn't do anything put shampoo and let it air dry .

My hair practices actually inspired my roommate to start her healthy hair journey

My roommates wouldn't recognize me if i didn't have conditioner and a shower cap on.

I don't understand the question. White roommates paid me no mind, Asian was curious, and Biracial was inspired to take her own haircare journey.

Just do your hair and tell them to mind their business if they ask trifling questions or even better if you have a closet set up a lamp and your hair products in there. Then when you want to do your hair in private just lock yourself in there so you won't have to deal with questions or stares.
