I am new here, and just starting to develop a regimen, although I'm having a really hard time eliminating heat.
Because my hair is short and layered, in an inverted bob, there is little I can do that doesn't have me looking like a crazy woman.
I have eliminated "greasing" my scalp, having relaxers bone-straight, and harsh shampoos a long time ago, which has resulted in thicker, fuller hair, and I'm now ready to begin the process of growing it longer.
When I read others regimens, it seems like cutting out the heat has been so easy, but this is the BIGGEST change I will have to make. So far, my best thought it to at least cut out the flat iron, unless specially needed, and just use a blow dryer once a week, after a deep condition and heat protectant. It is possible to do this, and continue to wear my hair curly/ in braid-outs, until it gets shoulder length, and I could begin doing rollersets, or something will less heat....???
erplexed???
Does anyone have any advice for eliminating heat on texlaxed, short hair?
