Favorite Length You USED to Be!

What length was your favorite on you?

**must choose a length you have previously been, but are not now** ie. don't choose waist length if your hair's never been that long. also don't choose APL if you are currently APL

For me I would have to say shoulder length. I wish I enjoyed this stage instead of wishing it would grow. Products lasted longer, faster drying time, less shed hair in places there shouldn't be. Those were the days...

I've never been past SL, lol so I picked SL. In summer 2008, my hair was healthy and full and right at SL w/long layers. I was in love w/my hair that summer and didn't even want to grow it any longer, I thought it was perfect.

My hair is again about SL with long layers. But now I am natural and don't wear my hair straight much anymore. I'm hoping I will like APL even more than SL.

so far my current fave was a layers SL bob esp with my natural curls. for straight/streched i havent gotten to my favorite length yet. it think it will be about bsl or mbl

My favorite length is necklength or shorter.

Easier to style, detangle, and dries quicker.

i didnt vote, but relaxed my fave was NL & shorter b/c i had a sassy bob that i loved (besides the maintenance), and natural would be CBL b/c thats my current length and i like it better than the previous lengths, but i'm sure each milestone i reach will become my favorite.

I didnt read the poll. I said WL but I'm ony MBL. But really to answer APL was my milestone, I was so happy with APL straight hair. I didn't get as excited about MBL. When I got my sew in I did an asyemtric NL cut with bangs and got a ton of compliments.

My favorite length on me was MBL. The length was nice and had my ends been thicker, it would've been perfect.

Crap! I messed up because I just read the poll and didn't read the first post!

I chose MBL even though I've never been there, doubt I ever could get there, and don't really want to get there. I just think it looks nice on others. I think that'd be too much hair for me personally.

But to answer the question, I guess my current NL is my favorite on me so far.

I was apl last year but i cut it off because i had heat damage (I'm almost apl again!!) so because of the damage, i wont say it was my favorite (although i did love the length).

I'd have to say that I really loved when my hair was first bc'd. It was curly, thick and 3-4 inches all over. I had a lot of shrinkage, but I really loved my hair. From there to maybe 5-6 inches were really nice.

Also, I loved when i cut it last year because it was a cute neck length bob. Straightened, it looked good, and when i wore it natural, i liked its shape. Also, i think i loved it so much because i cut off all the damage, so my hair was healthier, and that made me happy.

The longest was bsl, but my favorite was apl. I would wear it with the ends flipped up. the hair catch on the curve of my back and create a "bow" that create a fullness. Neither roller set or flat iron could reproduce this affect. Unfortunately, could not achieve this affect at sl or bsl.

I can't really answer the OP and don't think I ever will be able to. Truth is, if I had a past FAVORITE, I'd be back at it and I'd stay there, because I do what makes me happiest and it'd make no sense for me to have longer hair if my favorite length was shorter than now.

Having long hair has been a dream since childhood so the longer my hair is the happier I am so since APL is the longest I've ever had and where I am now, I am happier now than I have ever been. I know I'll be even happier if I grow hair longer than this. So how does one choose a favorite when every longer length makes one happier than the one before? I guess I'll know my favorite when I reach my terminal length. *shrug*

i picked mid back but its more like bsl to mid. at that length when i wore my hair curly it looked its best. probably cause there was less weight holding it down you know.


might have to revisit that length again lol

I have 2 favorites....Neck length bob (relaxed only) or MBL. I like short or long, no in between. I HATE SL and APL.

I like BSL. I may have even been MBL senior year but I paid no attention. My face is so chubby I dont think anything shorter would work. Right now Im just trying to get to MBL I'm average height so thats not too long nor too short. Perfect for me; I dont want to be a Hair Whore lol

I made it to the top of hip length and cut it back last year so I have had a few lengths on my belt. Waist length is my favorite but I think Hip Length will be my new favorite.
